What is FreeSWITCH?
FreeSWITCH is a Software Defined Telecom Stack enabling the digital transformation from proprietary telecom switches to a versatile software implementation that runs on any commodity hardware. From a Raspberry PI to a multi-core server, FreeSWITCH can unlock the telecommunications potential of any device. Combined with our hosted cloud platform, SignalWire, FreeSWITCH can interconnect with the outside world and scale to any size.
FreeSWITCH can handle voice, video and text communications from an IP Network (VoIP) and the PSTN (i.e., regular landlines). FreeSWITCH supports all popular VoIP protocols as well as interfacing with PRIs. For a full listing of supported protocols, see the Endpoints page.

FreeSWITCH includes many modules that provide many telephony applications, such as conferencing, XML-RPC control of live calls, interactive voice response (IVR), speech synthesis and speech recognition, public switched telephone network (PSTN) interfaces for analogue and digital circuits, voice over IP protocols including Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), Verto, Skinny Client Control Protocol (SCCP), H.323, Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol (XMPP), GoogleTalk, T.38 and others.
Tonmind IP Speakers can work with FreeSWITCH Perfectly via SIP Protocol. You can connect with SIP PBX Server. We are developing 3 software to manage the speakers.
• IPTool: Support Multicast Streaming (speaker configuration).
• Tonmind Audio Manager: Support Multicast Streaming (the upgrade version of IPTool that supports different zones).
• PA System Lite: Support Multicast streams, SIP (server software).
